What we collect
When you fill in a form on this site, we collect the information you type: usually your first name and email address, and whatever you write in a message. That is all. We do not buy data about you and we do not collect anything behind your back.
What we use it for
We use your details to answer you, to send you the trip planning guide if you asked for it, and to send occasional updates about our seasons. Nothing else. We never sell, rent or share your information with third parties for marketing.
Where it lives
Form entries are stored in the database of this website, hosted in Brazil (São Paulo), protected by standard security measures. Our site sits behind Cloudflare, which may set technical cookies needed to serve pages quickly and block abuse.
Cookies
This site uses the technical cookies needed for it to work, plus Google Analytics to count visits and understand which pages are read. Analytics is loaded only for visitors outside the European Union, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, IP addresses are anonymised, and we do not run advertising trackers. The video on the partners page is served by YouTube and only loads, with YouTube’s own cookies, once you press play.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can write to [email protected] and we will show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it entirely. We answer within a few days and we never charge for it. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.

The data controller is Patagonia Trashumante, Chos Malal, Neuquén, Argentina. Personal data is handled under Argentine Personal Data Protection Law 25.326. The Argentine supervisory authority is the Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública, where complaints can be filed.
